All Omani National Ratings Revised Following Scale Recalibration

Capital Intelligence Ratings (CI Ratings or CI) today announced that it has revised the national ratings of all issuers and issues in Oman following the recalibration of the National Scale for Oman.
The rating changes are a direct result of the recalibration – which has been made necessary by the recent upgrade of Oman’s international long-term sovereign issuer ratings – and are not related to any changes in the fundamental creditworthiness of the rated entities. Accordingly, the international foreign and local currency credit ratings assigned to Omani entities are not affected by the recalibration. Rating outlooks for national and international ratings are also unaffected.
