Banque Nationale Agricole – Ratings Affirmed with a Stable Outlook
Capital Intelligence Ratings (CI Ratings or CI) today announced that it has affirmed the Long-Term Foreign Currency Rating (LT FCR) and Short-Term Foreign Currency Rating (ST FCR) of Banque Nationale Agricole (BNA) at ‘B+’ and ‘B’, respectively. At the same time, CI Ratings has affirmed the Bank’s B ank S tandalone Rating (BS R ) of ‘b’ and C ore F inancial S trength (CFS) rating of ‘ b + ’. The Outlook for the ratings remains Stable.
BNA’s LT FCR is set one notch above the BSR due to the moderate likelihood of extraordinary support from the authorities in the event of need. The BSR of ‘b’ is derived from a CFS rating of ‘b+’ and an Operating Environment Risk Anchor ( OPERA ) of ‘b’. The CFS is underpinned by the Bank’s still satisfactory…
