Ominve st – Long-Term International and National Rating s Raised due to Improving Sovereign and Operating Environment Risk

Capital Intelligence Ratings (CI Ratings or CI) today announced that it has raised the Long-Term Foreign Currency Rating (LT FCR) of Oman International Development and Investment Company (Ominvest) to ‘BB + ’ from ‘BB’ . This follows the recent upgrade of Oman’s sovereign rating to ‘BB+’ from ‘BB’. The LT- FCR had been previously constrained by the s overeign ratings . The Short-Term FCR (ST FCR) is affirmed at ‘B’. The Outl ook for the LT FCR has been revised to Stable from Positive . At the sa me time, CI Ratings has raised Ominvest’s Long-Te rm National R ating to ‘omAA A ’ , from ‘omAA’ , and affirmed the Short-Term N ational R ating at ‘omA1+’.
