Tu rkiye Halk Bankasi – Outlook Revised to Stable; all other Ratings Affirmed
Capital Intelligence Ratings (CI Ratings or CI) today announced that it has revised the Outlook on the L ong-Term Foreign Currency Rating (L T FCR ) and Bank Standalone Rating ( BSR ) of Turkiye Halk Bankasi (Halk) to Stable from Negative. At the same time, CI Ratings has affirmed the Bank ’ s LT FCR and BSR of ‘ B ’ and ‘ b- ’ , respectively. Halk ’ s Short-Term (ST) FCR of ‘ B ’ , Core Financial Strength ( CFS ) rating of ‘ b ’ , and Extraordinary Support Level ( ESL ) of Moderate have also been affirmed.
The upward revision of the LT FCR and BSR O utlook s reflects the significant improvement in Halk ’ s loan asset quality metrics, especially the NPL coverage ratio and the reduced wholesale funding requirements, as well as our view…
