United Bank Limited ’s Ratings Affirmed with a Stable Outlook
Capital Intelligence Ratings (CI Ratings or CI) today announced that it has affirmed the Long-Term Foreign Currency Rating (LT FCR) and Short-Term Foreign Currency Rating (ST FCR) of United Bank Limited ( U BL ) at ‘B-’ and ‘B’, respectively. At th e same time, CI Ratings has affirmed U BL ’s Bank Standalone Rating ( BSR ) of ‘b-’ and Core Financial Strength ( CFS ) rating of ‘bb-’. The Outlook for the LT FCR and BSR is Stable.
The Bank’s LT FCR is at the same level as the BSR and is constrained by CI’s internal assessment of sovereign credit risk for Pakistan. UBL’s FCRs reflect its financial credit strengths of a good funding and liquidity profile supported by a very high level of liquid assets, solid CARs, a strong…
